Good For:

Parties

This super simple 5 layer vegan bean dip is perfect to throw together last minute and please the whole crowd!

Notes: You can customize this to the heat level you like with changes in the taco seasoning and salsa. You can also change the amounts of cheese and salsa to preference.

In my opinion, this 5 layer vegan bean dip tastes the best after at least 30 minutes after refrigeration, but it will not last long in the refrigerator after digging in! (But this dip is so tasty there won’t be any left!)

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning (spicy or medium)
  • 2-3 ripe avocados
  • lemon
  • 1 cup vegan sour cream
  • 15.5 oz Thick Salsa (to your spice level)
  • 8 oz vegan cheddar cheese shreds
  • 1/2 cup chopped jalapenos

        Instructions

        Mix layers

Mix your can of refried beans with the envelope of taco seasoning until completely combined.

In a separate bowl, peel and mash avocados. Add juice from one lemon and a cup of sour cream. Mix until combined.

        Start Layering

Layer ingredients in tall clear or white serveware.

Layer 1 – Refried Bean Mixture
Layer 2 – Avocado Sour Cream Mixture
        Layer 3 – Chunky Salsa
Layer 4 – Cheddar Cheese Shreds
        Layer 5 – Chopped Jalepenos

        Finish and serve

Serve the 5 layer dip immediately with a combination of tortilla chips, carrots, or celery.

Watch your vegan and non-vegan friend’s delight!
